It will sound strange, but I felt so depressed this morning, felt like a failure and decided to watch this video. After watching it I just went to "shop my closet". And I felt like a thousand times better. Ashley has this ability to just calm me down and inspire me for little changes. Feeling grateful.
Q: my mom always told me with jewelry never wear earrings and a necklace at the same time, it’s too much. Necklace and bracelet ok,or earrings and bracelet is ok. It’s crazy but I still follow it. Do you have any style tips you learned from your mom or grandparents? My dads advice was always “don’t know what to wear? Call tommy, hilfigure it out” lol 😂
I love that you added that important tip to the end about not thinking one needs to have it all or go out & buy everything! Such an important message esp for younger audience. I wear smokey eyes and bright lips to work... but I’m a hairstylist so it fits the vibe of my work. Now If I was in a different office setting, maybe not. Depends on the job!
The big hair bows were popular in the 1980's just like the pleated high waist jeans and shoulder pads. Talk about doing a vintage vibe! You can find lots of vintage at thrift shops
