When we went to see Schindler's List in the cinema, a guy sitting behind us leaned over to his wife and asked "This is that Schwarzenegger film, right?" just as the lights dimmed. I wish I could have seen his face during the actual film...
"there was a shower scene"
Hitler Jokes are outta mein kampfort zone
Poly meaning many and ticks meaning blood sucking parasites.
"I read between the lines" 😂😂
Ricky Gervais is the most offensive non-offensive person I know of.
PC culture: "There are some things that are never funny!"
It was Nietzsche's sister who altered his work and presented to the Nazi party.
"Rubbish, I used about two."
"I won't do it anymore... 'Cause, you know, the Soviets are at my doorstep"
In reality, Nietzsche hated nationalism, the big state, and anti-semites: “Deutschland, Deutschland über alles, that is the end of German philosophy,” he wrote, and “I will have all antisemites shot.” His sister, however, was a Nazi before Nazism, and she took charge of his estate and writings after his breakdown/death--hence misinterpretations of him like this one.
There is a comedian who told the best Schindler's List joke I've ever heard but I cannot remember his name. He tells the joke, "My wife can't take me anywhere anymore. It's just too much for her. We went to see that new movie "Schindler's List" and when it was over and we got up to leave I turned to her and said a bit too loud, 'Wow! Can you imagine if this was real?'" I still laugh at that joke after all these years. It's priceless.
“The most brilliant propagandist technique will yield no success unless one fundamental principle is borne in mind constantly - it must confine itself to a few points and repeat them over and over.”
highly offensive jokes that are executed in a hilarious manner. Ricky is right up there with Bill Burr for the comedians we truly need in 2021
"The Holocaust isn't your average comedy subject"
"what is politics?"
Ya know, this joke isn't too far from the truth. I believe Nietzsche's (sister?) Tried to rewrite his works as Nazi propaganda after his death.
“There was a shower scene” jesus christ
I just love how Gervais takes both Nietzsche and Hitler and channels them through his inimitable personality to craft this hilarious vignette. Imagining Hitler getting all embarrassed like Ricky and pressing his thumb in a preoccupied manner whilst pretending not to listen is something that'll never get old. People offended by Gervais simply don't get the joke and really need to laugh more ...
I don’t know if it’s the way he’s dressed or the way he talks but until I heard people laughing I thought this was a church service.
